From successfully unseating a 25-year incumbent, managing a U.S. Senate race, bouncing between New York and Georgia to oversee three successful congressional races and be part of a historic double runoff, Julian has never backed away from a challenge.
Julian brings to the team a wealth of knowledge and a knack for field operations. Julian began his career while earning his bachelors from Illinois Wesleyan University, interning for a successful gubernatorial race in 2014, going on to work for Congressman Darin LaHood’s special election campaign the following year, and Senator Mark Kirk’s re-election in 2016, while also being a member of his outreach coalitions.
During his four years as a manager for Sodexo USA, Julian executed the importance of budgeting, emphasis to detail, and multitasking to deliver hundreds of catering events. Using social media and developing a weekly update called Newscoop he brought in more student awareness and participation in their dining operations.
Returning to politics full-time, Julian served as the intern/volunteer coordinator for Governor Rauner’s 2018 re-election campaign while overseeing the duties as field office manager for the Governor’s HQ. In 2019 Julian worked for a Chicago aldermanic race against one of former Speaker Mike Madigan’s biggest allies, a once in a lifetime opportunity to battle the harsh tactics of Illinois’ most unpopular politicians, garnering massive press attention for his candidate.
The following year he was hired to be a campaign manager for a U.S. Senate candidate, developing the skills required to conduct polling, contract vendors, maintain candidate schedules, media relations, and fundraising. While serving as campaign manager he also joined Ammie Kessem’s team to successfully unseat an entrenched committeeman, bringing a much-needed voice to Republican politics in Chicago.
Eager to see how political campaigns operate outside of Illinois, Julian was hired to be the Republican National Committee’s downstate regional director in New York. There he mentored, managed, and assisted 6 field organizers and worked with stakeholders to re-elect Congressman Lee Zeldin, hold retiring Congressman Peter King’s seat, and flip New York’s 11th district back to the GOP.
Julian is our go-to go for candidates hoping to get on the ballot. He has helped 25 individuals to do so from all levels: President, Congress, U.S. Senate, Governor, Secretary of State, Attorney General, Treasurer, Secretary of State, State Representative, State Senate, Committeemen, and Delegates/Alternate Delegates for the Republican National Committee. He knows the ins and outs of filing paperwork to get on the ballot and has never gotten a candidate kicked off the ballot, even getting himself on the ballot as a successful delegate to the Republican National Committee in 2020.
